Rimes Grace, a small, far-out settlement in the mountainy woodlands.  The year is closing in on its end and the people have fallen ill. An evil curse prevents them from lighting their Yule Bonfire in the longest of nights and the winter spirits have become restless. But there is hope.

It's a short (20 - 30 minutes), atmospheric adventure game where you are both, dead and alive at the same time. Solve puzzles, be smart. Help the people!

This was my december project. It's my first ever Unreal powered game. Made it in roughly 1.5 months.

I hope you enjoy playing as much as I enjoyed making it!

I loved the game!

I liked how the game felt so open from the beginning. Menu was nice and cozy. Atmosphere was cozy as well, I also liked the graphics and warm lighting everywhere, You can interact with a lot of things (you can check every grave). Nice mechanic of switching between two characters here.

I think the only aspect that makes the game worse is long dialogs which also felt complicated, but I like how the universe's plot extended beyond the game (you can see it in the conversation with Harriet).

Btw. I don't know how I solved the stones puzzle, because I did it without a single thought XDD I got lucky I guess.

Here's the video of me playing your game (it's the third one here):

Thank you so much! I’m super glad you liked it :D

And thanks for taking time to put your thought about the game. I appreciate it very much!

Agreed, if I had to do the game again today, I’d cut down the dialogue or chunk it up so the reading sequences become less straining xD

That was a little bittersweet story. The atmosphere was great and let me to dissolve in Christmas mistery and forget about reality for a little bit!

Heey, thank you so much for playing! I absolutely love your impressions for all the characters. Spot-on!

And you did translate the entire thing on the fly. That is impressive.

Sorry I couldn’t have a russian translation in it. Or any translation for that matter.

Still. I’m glad you had a good time! Despite also running into the issues on the graveyard. Oh dear :’D

Thank you for watching! I love your game a lot!
Hehehe graveyards are supposed to be weird and confusing at the end of the day ^_^

I know I am yeeears late on this one, but I definitely want to give kudos to this beautiful and well crafted game! What a treat it was to play during Christmas. It was graphically gorgeous with such a cute and intriguing story to go with it.

It’s never too late for a nice christmas ride in Rimes Grace. I enjoyed your narration of the massive amounts of text :D

It’s funny you entered that one ghost on the graveyard on accident. That was a feature for another project that must have slipped in haha. Never noticed it. Awsome.

Thanks so much for playing!

Well that is good to hear! And thanks! I did my best lol. Was such a lovely town/story.

Oops, I thought I just accidently stumbled into success with the whole entering the ghost thing but that explains why nothing came of it lol.

Your game was truly beautiful and a great experience, thank you so much for making it! Also much appreciation for checking out my video of it :D
