The Shooty Update
G’day folks!
We said it’d be time for a new build this week. Now is the time. You can find the fresh build attached to this post.
This new build deals specifically with ironing out some things we didn’t manage in the jam version and, most importantly, improvements with enemy spawning and your perception of the game world.
What changed? The shorter list would be what didn’t change. But lets see here.
- We made it so that more enemies will spawn. Good lord, will they spawn!
- From now on your PC won’t start smoking from the whole dungeon being processed each frame post level 10
- Reworked sounds (audible and technical)
- Tinkered with the camera angles and offsets
- Improved the magic path visuals and behaviour
- Nerved enemy gun damage
- Bigger props can now be destroyed
We would like you to post your feedback. How did it feel to you? Was it all snappy or sloppy? Too slow or too fast? Or just right? Progression curve in terms of number of spawned enemies. Feels good? Shabby? Do you feel overwhelmed yet?
It’d be invaluable to us if you take that time and leave us your impressions. That way we know if this is going in some right direction.
